<dc:description>
This data descriptor encompasses medical records from 1,419 inpatients diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS). The data were collected from six provincial-level tertiary general hospitals across Chongqing, Ningxia, Kunming, and Guizhou. The records span a collection period from January 2020 to September 2026.

For each patient, the medical records include demographic information, residential address, date of onset, admission date, length of hospital stay, clinical manifestations, treatment interventions, and laboratory test results. The original data were recorded in Chinese and have been translated into English to facilitate reference and utilization by a broader range of researchers.

To the best of our knowledge, datasets specifically focusing on GBS are exceedingly rare. This dataset represents the largest sample size of GBS patient data currently available in China. It was compiled to support GBS-related cohort and epidemiological studies, thereby enhancing the understanding of this disease.
</dc:description>
