<p dir="ltr">The workbook records environmental sensor measurements together with flock age and the lighting schedule. It is suitable for comparing environmental conditions between summer and winter and for examining how conditions vary by flock age and time of day.<br></p><p dir="ltr">The dataset describes the environmental conditions experienced by broiler chickens during two seasons. Each record combines:</p><p dir="ltr">• season,</p><p dir="ltr">• clock time and decimal-hour time,</p><p dir="ltr">• flock age in days,</p><p dir="ltr">• outdoor temperature,</p><p dir="ltr">• indoor temperature,</p><p dir="ltr">• relative humidity,</p><p dir="ltr">• ammonia concentration,</p><p dir="ltr">• carbon-dioxide concentration,</p><p dir="ltr">• light intensity, and</p><p dir="ltr">• daily light and dark durations.</p><p><br></p><p dir="ltr">Potential uses include:</p><p><br></p><p dir="ltr">• summer-versus-winter environmental comparisons;</p><p dir="ltr">• assessing temperature, humidity, ammonia, and CO₂ patterns over flock age;</p><p dir="ltr">• studying diurnal variation in environmental conditions;</p><p dir="ltr">• examining relationships between lighting conditions and sensor measurements; and</p><p dir="ltr">• environmental monitoring and management research for broiler housing.</p><p><br></p><p dir="ltr">The workbook does not include a production, health, mortality, growth, welfare, or behavioral outcome variable. It is therefore primarily an environmental exposure/monitoring dataset, rather than a direct performance-outcome dataset.</p>
