<dc:description>
The included data archive compiles the raw trajectory outputs from our experimental video analysis, as generated by the TRex software package (as discussed in the body of the manuscript). Due to its size, the archive has been uploaded to Kaggle and may be downloaded from the following link: https://www.kaggle.com/datasets/kevinpilkiewicz/roach-and-robot-trajectory-dataset. The data is partitioned into folders for each type (roach or robot) and number (1, 10, or 20) of tested agents. Within each experiment class folder, there is one subfolder for each experiment of that class performed. For each individual experiment, the corresponding folder includes the trajectory spreadsheet for each agent, a snapshot showing the average background image used for calibrating TRex for the analysis of that experiment, and a readme file containing some details about how to compare the pixel coordinates in the trajectory files for each experiment to actual physical measurements. It should be noted that in the ten and twenty agent experiments, there are typically more files than agents, as when an agent leaves the camera frame and reenters later, TRex treats it as a new entity.

(ZIP)
</dc:description>
