<dc:description>
This study examines how character imagery in digital environments relates to users’ aesthetic perceptions, emotional responses, and intended engagement. Using questionnaire data from 300 adults aged 18–35, the study evaluates three dimensions: perceived character aesthetics, emotional response, and stated engagement. The findings indicate strong positive associations among these measures, with aesthetics related to both emotional response and engagement, and emotional response showing a strong relationship with engagement. The study provides an initial psychological framework for understanding character-centered digital experiences and highlights the need for future research examining how specific visual characteristics translate into actual interactive behavior.
</dc:description>
