<dc:description><p dir="ltr">Mobile wallets have become core payment infrastructure for e-commerce in emerging economies, yet the drivers of their continued use remain incompletely understood. This study extends the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) with sustainability perception, satisfaction, digital literacy and financial awareness to explain behavioural intention and actual usage among urban Indian mobile wallet users. Survey data from 106 adult users were analysed using multiple regression. Sustainability perception, satisfaction and hedonic motivation significantly predicted behavioural intention, whereas digital literacy, financial awareness and the remaining UTAUT2 constructs had no significant direct effects. Behavioural intention, in turn, significantly predicted actual usage. The findings suggest that in digitally mature payment markets, continued use depends less on access-related enablers and more on experiential quality and value alignment. The study repositions sustainability and experiential constructs within UTAUT2 and offers implications for e-commerce platforms, payment providers and policymakers.</p></dc:description>
