<dc:description><p dir="ltr">This dataset contains the images of diatom aggregates used in the manuscript, “Morphological Links Between Bloom-forming Diatoms and Marine Aggregates.” Diatoms were cultivated in microcosms at the University of Tasmania until aggregates formed, after which a custom-built camera system was lowered into the microcosms to capture images of the resulting aggregates. The images in this dataset were used to investigate links between aggregate and diatom morphology and generate the results presented in the associated manuscript. The dataset includes images from both monoculture and co-culture experiments.</p></dc:description>
