<dc:description>
CoSync is a multimodal dataset for studying interpersonal synchrony in video-mediated dyadic collaboration. It contains observed recordings and retained questionnaire scores from 50 participants in 25 dyads who completed six task paradigms: Mirror Game, Asymmetric Communication, Collaborative Story Writing, Collaborative Navigation, Collaborative Tangram, and Joint Music. The study includes nine active conditions, with role reversals in Mirror Game and Asymmetric Communication and Free and Collaborative Music conditions, plus three baselines: Still, Move, and Conversation.

The review package includes EEG, peripheral physiology, and gaze exports; derived facial and head-movement features from OpenFace; derived acoustic features from openSMILE; task-event records; processed arrays and stored ICA objects; participant and partner mappings; and retained questionnaire score tables. Original audio and video recordings are not included. The package also contains an analysis notebook and self-contained analysis code, numerical results, empirical figures, a data dictionary, and integrity manifests.

The data support analyses of synchrony magnitude, partner specificity through task-matched non-partner comparisons, role-dependent coordination, and associations with perceived emotional synchrony. The primary perceived-synchrony outcome is the mean of the two partners' individual scores; the separately supplied dyad summary is retained as a distinct field.

Participant and dyad identifiers are pseudonymous, and timestamps use relative clocks. The study received institutional ethics approval; identifying institutional details are withheld for anonymous review. Please begin with README.html and data_dictionary.html for file structure, timing, score interpretation, and the documented access and reuse scope. This repository item accompanies the manuscript “CoSync: A Multimodal Toolkit and Dataset for Interpersonal Synchrony Research in Dyadic Collaboration.”
</dc:description>
