<dc:description>
This preprint examines the growing concerns surrounding the use of Denuvo anti‑tamper technology in modern PC games. Recent advances in hacking techniques have significantly reduced Denuvo’s reliability, making it easier for attackers to bypass protections that once prevented unauthorized access. As a result, the system often becomes a point of conflict between defensive mechanisms and cracking attempts.

The analysis highlights how these security interactions can lead to noticeable performance issues, including increased CPU usage, higher energy consumption, and gameplay slowdowns. These effects directly influence the player experience and raise questions about whether Denuvo continues to provide meaningful benefits for developers or creates additional problems for users.
</dc:description>
