For each sector, the dataset provides recorded export and import values in USD, along with their respective shares of total recorded trade.</p><p dir="ltr">Recorded exports amount to approximately $2.18 trillion, compared with $3.50 trillion in imports.</p><p dir="ltr">The accompanying visualization shows how the composition of exports differs from imports. The dataset provides the underlying sector-level figures for further analysis.</p><p dir="ltr">The included methodology document explains the data structure, calculations and limitations.</p><p dir="ltr">Original statistical source: UN Comtrade.
