<dc:description>
The analytical framework was used to examine how WSUD is expressed and given practical effect in South Australian planning policy. It draws on policy framing and policy design concepts and has four dimensions: policy framing and intent, which examines the problems, purposes and outcomes associated with WSUD; regulatory strength and policy tools, which examines the wording and mechanisms used to guide or require action; spatial and sectoral scope, which examines where and across which areas of planning the provisions apply; and monitoring provisions, which examines arrangements for tracking implementation and outcomes. The same dimensions were applied to each policy document to support comparison across planning instruments.
</dc:description>
