The study investigates how tourism dependence interacts with economic fragility, environmental pressure, climate and disaster vulnerability, and governance/adaptive capacity weakness to create structural vulnerability in tourism-dependent island economies. Main Manuscript</p><p dir="ltr">The dataset consists of 525 country-year observations and includes indicators covering five conceptual dimensions: (1) tourism dependency, (2) economic fragility, (3) environmental pressure, (4) climate/disaster vulnerability, and (5) governance and adaptive-capacity weakness. These indicators were collected from internationally comparable sources and harmonized to enable cross-country and longitudinal analysis.
