Both factors were associated with safe-decision rates, while their interaction affected reaction time. Hemodynamic responses in frontal and temporal regions also varied across decision stages. These findings suggest that individual and situational factors may influence mining-safety decisions, supporting training that addresses risks to miners and coworkers.</p> <p>Safety training should include both risks directly affecting miners and risks affecting co-workers or other workers.
