Long-term Changes of Phytoplankton in the Southern Ocean Md Rony Golder (24448007) phytoplankton Southern Ocean sea ice climate projections <p dir="ltr">This thesis investigates long term variability and future change in Southern Ocean phytoplankton using satellite observations, sea ice analysis, deep learning reconstruction, and climate projections. It identifies dominant physical drivers of chlorophyll a variability, highlights the critical role of sea ice regime shifts, and introduces an observation constrained U Net framework to reduce uncertainty in future projections.
