<dc:description><p dir="ltr">The rapid digital transformation across industries has positioned logistics and supply chain management (SCM) at the center of technological innovation. This paper investigates the role of digital logistics in enhancing service delivery and fostering national competitiveness. It examines how emerging technologies—such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, the Internet of Things (IoT), big data analytics, and autonomous transportation—are revolutionizing supply chain operations in developing contexts. The study argues that digital logistics not only improves efficiency through real-time tracking, predictive maintenance, and demand forecasting but also reduces costs and strengthens customer satisfaction. Furthermore, it highlights how the adoption of smart logistics ecosystems can help nations integrate into global value chains and improve their logistics performance index rankings. Particular emphasis is placed on the challenges of digital adoption in low-resource settings, including infrastructural limitations, cybersecurity threats, and skills gaps. The paper concludes by presenting a roadmap for policymakers and industry stakeholders to harness digital logistics as a strategic tool for achieving efficiency, sustainability, and competitiveness at both firm and national levels.
