<dc:description><p dir="ltr">This confocal image shows the spatial distribution of bovine satellite cells on a 3D-printed protein-based scaffold. Cell nuclei were stained with DAPI (blue), and the actin cytoskeleton was labeled with Phalloidin (orange). The image was captured using a Zeiss LSM 800 Airyscan confocal microscope with assistance from the Biomedical Imaging Research Unit (BIRU), University of Auckland. The final composite was generated by optical sectioning and stacking over a 100 μm depth, starting from the scaffold’s top surface. The curved pattern of cell coverage indicates that cells adhered both to the top plane and vertical sides of the scaffold.</p></dc:description>
