<dc:description><p dir="ltr">At the centre is a kawakawa leaf that is precious to me. It was the first I ever held, and I kept it, dried it and photographed it.The threads of light and glowing dots represent people’s kōrero, experiences and knowledge. The blue brushstrokes reflect conversations and growing connections. Together, they surround the leaf, showing how people’s ideas give direction to my research. As the light flows through the leaf’s veins, these ideas connect. The straight golden line running down the leaf represents the nationwide survey. From there, the light continues towards the co-design of a future kawakawa clinical trial, guided by what people share and grounded in respect for Māori knowledge and tikanga.Below the leaf, the golden health symbol represents the hope behind this work: better health for our communities and future generations. It reminds me that listening with care is where meaningful research begins.</p></dc:description>
