<dc:description>
Learning how to receive and understand feedback is part of your training as a PhD/doctoral candidate.

I was struggling to understand my supervisor's feedback in the word document track-changes-and-comments format that is typical of PhD feedback at the moment. It was difficult to discern which comments related to fundamental issues to my work and which were just small adjustments or a matter of personal taste. I also found it difficult to identify what my supervisor though I was doing well, as I only received feedback about what I needed to change or fix. I found that I was spending a lot of time trying to understand and process their feedback because I was receiving it in a way that didn't suit the way I think.

I created this feedback template so that my supervisors would give me feedback in a way that was understandable to me, so that I would be able to spend less time trying to parse their feedback and more time implementing it!

I am making it public so that it may help other PhD students in a similar situation to me.
</dc:description>
