Checkpoint-Time and Event-Day Reanalysis Temperature Assignments in Mountain Ultramarathons KANG LI (24202611) Sports science and exercise not elsewhere classified environmental exposure assessment spatiotemporal exposure outdoor physical activity mountain ultramarathon checkpoint timing ERA5-Land temperature assignment <p dir="ltr">This dataset supports a retrospective descriptive environmental-measurement study of 28 editions from three mountain-ultramarathon race families. Public checkpoint timing and route information were linked to hourly ERA5-Land 2-m air temperature to compare athlete-, checkpoint-, and time-specific assignments with one fixed event-day temperature. The deposit contains privacy-reduced derived data for 4,601 athlete-event entries and 47,226 athlete-checkpoint records, event-level and sensitivity results, MERRA-2 cross-product outputs for six event editions, numerical source data for all manuscript figures, locked protocols, analysis and quality-assurance code, final figure PDFs, and provenance records.</p><p dir="ltr">Athlete identifiers are event-specific release codes. Exact passage timestamps, raw result pages, direct identifiers, and the private participant-hashing salt are not distributed.
