It contains a university-level panel constructed from publicly available data on competitive FONDECYT/PROCIENCIA research funding, annual publication output from OpenAlex, and SUNEDU institutional licensing records. The analytical panel covers 93 Peruvian universities observed from 2013 to 2023. Universities included in the panel account for 98.6% of the competitive research funding awarded to universities during 2015–2021.
