<dc:description><p dir="ltr">Increasing demand due to the growing burden of chronic illnesses, the aging population, and rising health care costs requires integrated care models that emphasise broad workforce utilisation and continuity of care. Interprofessional Collaboration (IPC) provides holistic solutions to these challenges and organisational characteristics, such as Organisational Culture (OC), are important in shaping the development and implementation of interprofessional primary healthcare workforce innovations and strategies that facilitate collaboration in policy and practice. Objectives: To identify the potential linkage between the concepts of IPC, OC, and integrated care in primary healthcare. Methods: A narrative literature review was conducted to describe existing evidence and critically examine the body of literature and a conceptual framework based on organisational theory was developed. Conclusion: IPC is a prerequisite to care continuity and person-centred primary care. IPC and OC have the potential to reorganise primary health care service delivery, integrated care, and positive health outcomes.</p></dc:description>
