<dc:description>
Titanic to Thames began life in the autumn of 2025, drafted over a handful of intense sittings in mid-October so that it could reach readers in time for Hallowe'en. It was first published under my pen name, Bradley Conrad Jr., as a playful side story within the Silverbourne world, blending the working-class Thames of 1912 with the rowing clubs, parties and relationships of modern London. The editing history shown here records every stage of that process, from the first keystrokes on 14 October 2025 through to the final changes made for this edition on 30 September 2026, and every one of those edits was made by my own hand.

This Second Revised Edition returns to the story after a pause of more than eight months, now published under my own name, Alexander Paul Burton, as part of bringing the whole Silverbourne collection together under one identity. The story has grown considerably along the way, and the manuscript now runs to more than 38,000 words, shaped across nearly fourteen hours of active writing and more than sixty thousand individual changes. Some of the revision took place in separate working documents before being brought back into the manuscript, and much of it involved moving my own chapters and passages around within it, which is why the report records a number of paste events alongside the typed text. I share this record because I believe readers deserve to know how a book was made, and because I am proud that Hugh, Finn, Aly and the ghostly waters of Mortlake came entirely from human imagination, memory and many happy hours spent beside the Thames. The updated keystroke data is attached.
</dc:description>
