<dc:description><p dir="ltr">This study examines gait performance in individuals with Parkinson's disease, focusing on how functional gait measures relate to established clinical assessment tools. Data from 45 participants were analyzed, including the Functional Gait Assessment, Hoehn - Yahr Staging, UPDRS rigidity and bradykinesia sub-scores, MoCA, FOG-Q, PDFS, FSST, and dual-task cost percentage. Using bivariate correlations and multiple linear regression, the study identifies which clinical and cognitive factors most strongly predict gait dysfunction in PD, with Hoehn and Yahr Staging, MoCA, and freezing of gait severity emerging as significant predictors (R² = 0.864). The findings aim to clarify the neurophysiological contributors to gait impairment and support more targeted clinical assessment in this population.</p></dc:description>
