It contains de-identified survey data from 268 employees working in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) recruited in Hanoi, Vietnam, during April–May 2026. The dataset supports analyses of within-family heterogeneity in problem-focused coping and its relationship with task performance, with particular attention to active coping, planning, and instrumental support. The repository includes item-level responses for job-related anxiety, active coping, planning, instrumental support, and task performance, together with coded demographic and work-related variables. Direct personal and organisational identifiers are not included. A codebook and README provide variable definitions, coding information, measurement sources, scoring instructions, and guidance for reproducibility.
