<dc:description>
In undergraduate health communication education, students often demonstrate a basic understanding of communication theories but struggle to apply these concepts in culturally complex health promotion contexts. This article presents a multi-perspective simulation model as a semester-long pedagogical strategy designed to address this gap. Inspired by emergency simulation models commonly used in clinical education, the activity engages students in structured role-play as diverse stakeholders, including policymakers, health-care practitioners, patients, family members, and administrators. Grounded in the principles of local wisdom, the model engages students in iterative cycles of simulation, reflection, and the redesign of health promotion programs. Through role rotation and guided debriefing, students identify communication gaps and develop culturally responsive and ethically grounded interventions. Findings indicate improvements in students’ communication competence, empathy, ability to integrate theory and practice, and reflective thinking. This study demonstrates that multi-perspective simulation is an effective experiential learning approach for applied health communication education.

Courses:Health Communication, Public Health Communication, Applied Communication (undergraduate programs).

Objectives:At the conclusion of the activity, students should be able to (1) analyze health communication problems from a multi-stakeholder perspective, (2) utilize interpersonal skills such as empathy and active listening, and (3) formulate culturally appropriate health promotion strategies.
</dc:description>
