<dc:description><p dir="ltr">This dataset contains the nucleotide sequences associated with the horizontal DNA transfer (HGT) events identified in our comparative analysis of plant and fungal genomes, together with sequences of the Gnawa DNA transposon family. The HGT FASTA file contains genomic sequences corresponding to the high-confidence recent horizontal transfer events detected between plants and fungi. The Gnawa FASTA file contains copies of the plant-derived Gnawa transposon identified in the genome of the tomato powdery mildew fungus Pseudoidium neolycopersici. These sequence datasets support the analyses reported in the manuscript “Asymmetric inter-kingdom gene transfer and a horizontal transposon invasion in a powdery mildew fungus.”</p></dc:description>
