<dc:description>
This Excel workbook contains the numerical source data used to generate the graphs and quantitative analyses presented in Figures 1–4 of the associated study investigating age-associated differences in cutaneous wound healing and inflammatory responses.

Data are organised into individual worksheets according to figure and include measurements from young and aged mice. The workbook contains:

Figure 1: wound area measurements, scab presence, and epithelial gap measurements over the course of wound healing.

Figure 2: quantification of wound-bed neutrophils and macrophages, together with analyses of neutrophil proximity to macrophages and the perivascular niche.

Figure 3: Gene Ontology (GO) enrichment results, differential gene-expression data, and expression measurements for Ccl3, Cxcl2, and Cxcl3 in young and age-impaired wounds. Separate worksheets (Figure 3D_young and Figure 3D_old) contain gene-level log fold-change and adjusted P-value data used for the differential-expression analysis.

Figure 4: quantification and cellular composition of CCL3⁺ cells, wound-healing measurements following CCL3-neutralising antibody treatment, wound-width measurements, and Ly6G⁺ neutrophil quantification.

Values are provided at the level used for statistical analysis and/or generation of the corresponding graphs in the manuscript. Where applicable, individual columns or rows represent measurements from individual biological samples or experimental groups.

Abbreviations: DPI/dpw, days post-injury/days post-wounding; GO, Gene Ontology; DEG, differentially expressed gene.
</dc:description>
