<b>Field and literature-derived data on water availability, pollination and plant reproduction</b> Min Cheney (25097146) Population ecology code data metadata <p dir="ltr">This dataset accompanies the manuscript “Field and literature-derived data on water availability, pollination and plant reproduction.” It brings together two complementary resources. The field dataset contains 60 plot-year records from 30 permanent plots observed in 2023 and 2024 at the Urat Desert Grassland Research Station, Inner Mongolia, China. It documents five nominal precipitation treatments and 14 variables describing floral traits, effective insect visitation, reproductive components and shrub size in Caragana korshinskii. The literature-derived dataset contains source-audited records for 39 published reports, with study identifiers, source DOIs, endpoint-selection decisions and harmonised evidence on water availability, pollination and plant reproduction. It includes separate tables for three primary pollinator effects, six primary reproductive effects, sensitivity analyses and evidence that could not be converted to a common effect metric. Data dictionaries, validation records and an accompanying R project document the file structure, analytical decisions and reproducibility checks.
