<dc:description><p dir="ltr">The traditional Romanian blouse is described by the specialist (Simona Bala) of the Ethnographic section of Criș Land Museum/Muzeul Țării Crișurilor of Oradea where its origin was tracked, material, and all the symbolic elements attached to it as featured in the video. It is a wide shaped woman blouse of the traditional folk costume, tailored from four sewn vertical strips of cloth and detachable parts of the shoulder yoke, chest panel, sleeve ruffles and collar. The sewn embroidery is black (as a hint of its belonginess to an old or widowed woman), openwork and filled embroidery was used. The symbolic elements on it are the floral ones as well as the agricultural tool shapes as the hay fork and for protection were featured the Christian elements such as the cross, holy bread stamp symbols, on the sleeves the symbol of an endless meandered path is featured, buttons and joining stiches are also used as decorative elements on the blouse to give it an aesthetic wholeness.</p></dc:description>
