Dataset Top 10 Journals in Library Information Science: The Relationship Between Altmetric Attention Score and Immediacy of Citation in Scopus and Google Scholar Anisa Putri Yasmin (24731803) Informetrics Library studies Open access Altmetric Attention Scores Immediacy Index <p dir="ltr">The research dataset consists of 908 scientific articles published in 2024 in 10 Library and Information Science (LIS) journals ranked in the first quartile (Q1) of Scopus. The research data was collected in 2025. The dataset covers 30 volumes/issues from the 10 journals included in the study. Each article in the dataset contains information on the Altmetric Attention Score (AAS), the number of citations on Scopus, the number of citations on Google Scholar, and the data required to calculate the Immediacy of Citation (IoC). The AAS values were obtained from Altmetric.com based on the article’s DOI, while citation data were obtained through searches on Scopus and Google Scholar.<br>Therefore, the year 2024 represents the year of publication for the articles under study, while the year 2025 represents the research data collection period.
