It is being developed by Haisco Pharmaceutical Group for the treatment of complement-mediated disorders. In July 2026, ciprocopan received its first approval for treatment of adult patients with paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria (PNH) who have not previously received treatment with a complement inhibitor therapy in China.
