Rail projects that have gone well Philip Laird (19572622) Uncategorised value This paper outlines some five rail projects for mainly freight trains in Eastern Australia and iron ore rail projects in Western Australia completed during or from 1980 to 2024. It then outlines 4 rail projects for mainly passenger trains in Australia over these 45 years along with three light rail projects completed since 2014. The paper also outlines 4 rail projects in New Zealand completed since 1979. All projects have either gone well in terms of being on time or within budget and or produced good outcomes. For the rail freight projects, these include increased productivity and efficiency in the form or heavier and faster freight trains.
