<dc:description>
Background/Objectives: Adolescent stress is a multidimensional construct determined by the demands of adolescents' academic, social, and family lives. Limitations have been observed regarding the use of brief instruments whose validity factors have been tested in Latin American contexts. The aim of this study was to analyze the psychometric properties of the Adolescent Stress Questionnaire–14 (ASQ-14) in Peruvian adolescents. Methods: The sample comprised 710 Peruvian adolescents (ages 12–17). Content validity was determined through expert judgment, and internal structure was assessed using exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis based on polychoric correlations with unweighted least squares estimation. Reliability was estimated using omega, factor invariance across gender and age was tested, and convergent, discriminant, and nomological validity were examined through the relationship with the CASO-N24 social anxiety questionnaire. Results: Unlike the original unidimensional model, the results support the validity of the questionnaire within a three-factor model comprising (1) family/personal stressors, (2) academic and future-related stressors, and (3) relational stressors with peers and teachers, with adequate model fit and a higher percentage of explained variance. Reliability was adequate (ω = .72–.86), evidence of convergent, discriminant, and nomological validity was established, and factor invariance across gender and age was confirmed. Conclusions: The results provide favorable evidence regarding the internal structure, internal consistency, and factorial invariance of the ASQ-14 in the study population, as well as its relationship with social anxiety.
</dc:description>
