<dc:description>
This dataset is derived from a prospective longitudinal pilot cohort study investigating the association between Moro reflex status and segmental trunk control in high-risk infants. The study followed 20 high-risk infants from 6 to 12 months of corrected age, with assessments conducted at 6, 9, and 12 months.

Moro reflex status was assessed using the Futagi head-drop test and graded on a four-point ordinal scale (0–3). Segmental trunk control was assessed using the Segmental Assessment of Trunk Control (SATCo), including static, active, and reactive components. The dataset therefore contains repeated measures of Moro reflex status and the three SATCo components across the three assessment time points, along with relevant participant demographic and perinatal characteristics.

The study was designed to examine the feasibility of repeated assessment and explore preliminary associations between Moro reflex status and the development of segmental trunk control during infancy. The dataset may support further exploratory analyses of longitudinal changes in Moro reflex status and trunk control in high-risk infants. As this is a pilot observational study with a small sample, the data should be interpreted as preliminary and should not be used to infer causal relationships.
</dc:description>
