<dc:description><p>The western U.S. is in a wildfire crisis, and one solution is fire we choose. We built a workflow for prioritizing forest treatments creating safe, cost-effective opportunities for beneficial fire. Results from Colorado’s Front Range identify low-cost projects that improve potential control lines, reduce firefighter exposure, and protect values. These datasets are results from the International Journal of Wildland Fire paper titled "Prioritizing fuel treatments for cost and safety". These results include 27 potential treatment scenarios, along with comparison results from the three additional sets of 27 scenarios with 10, and 20 percent increase in machine rate costs and a 10 percent reduction in potential revenue as a sensitivity analysis. </p></dc:description>
