<dc:description>
Manufacturing is vital to national economic stability and global competitiveness, yet its supply chains face a "concentration paradox"—concentration cuts collaboration costs but amplifies single-point disruption risks. Digital–real technology convergence offers a path to resolve this tension, though micro-level empirical evidence remains limited. Using balanced panel data of Chinese A-share manufacturing listed firms from 2011 to 2023, this study examines the impact of digital–real technology convergence on supply chain resilience. The results show that this convergence significantly enhances supply chain resilience, a finding robust to multiple endogeneity treatments. Mechanism analyses indicate that it operates by driving strategic supply chain concentration, boosting enterprise innovation, and easing financing constraints. Moreover, this enhancing effect is more prominent among large-scale, high-tech, and state-owned enterprises. This paper enriches research on digital technologies and supply chains, offering valuable empirical insights for firms building resilience and governments safeguarding industrial security.
</dc:description>
