<dc:description><p dir="ltr">The increasing intricacy of social issues and the rapid development of digital communication have further fueled the focus of researchers on social entrepreneurship as a means of social value creation. Yet, despite the growing body of research on the topic, there is a scarcity of research works on the global intellectual structure and thematic evolution of social entrepreneurship within the communication domain. This study aims to create a mapping of the global intellectual structure, identify research trends, and provide a comprehensive integrative overview of global research on social entrepreneurship in communication. This study is unique compared to other conceptual and narrative review works in its large-scale data-driven approach using bibliometric analysis. Using a bibliometric approach, this study analyzed 998 Scopus-indexed documents published from 2010 to 2025 using R Biblioshiny and Microsoft Excel. The study encompasses main information metrics, annual scientific production, trend topic evolution, and thematic mapping. The results show a strong and steady increase in scientific production, reflecting the maturity of social entrepreneurship in communication as an interdisciplinary research field. Trend topic analysis shows a transition from basic communication and technology topics to digital platforms, social media, information and communication technologies, and socially inclusive entrepreneurship. The thematic map shows that social media and ICT-enabled entrepreneurship are motor themes, while topics such as digital divide, business models, and emerging technologies are underdeveloped. The results contribute to the enrichment of the body of knowledge and provide valuable information for entrepreneurs, communication strategists, and policymakers in developing communication driven social innovation initiatives and policy frameworks.</p></dc:description>
