<dc:description><p dir="ltr">This dataset contains fatigue crack growth data from six compact-tension specimens extracted from the rail head of U75V steel. Tests were conducted at a stress ratio of 0.1 and a loading frequency of 10 Hz, with maximum applied loads ranging from 11.7 to 15.2 kN. Crack length histories were determined using the compliance method and used to calculate crack growth rates and nominal stress-intensity-factor ranges. The data support the analysis of specimen-to-specimen variability, the construction of nominal and minimum-shielding master curves, and the characterization of equivalent crack-tip shielding evolution.</p></dc:description>
