The study examines sustainability learning among preservice teachers participating in an arts based service learning intervention involving puppetry and the creative reuse of marine waste.</p><p dir="ltr">The dataset contains anonymised pre and post questionnaire data from 17 participants, including Likert scale responses, responses to open ended questions, and a focus group transcript. Participant identifiers (P1–P17) are used throughout to preserve anonymity.
