<dc:description>
A total of 180 controllers were designed by combining four tuning methods (Ziegler–Nichols, Åström–Hägglund, Chien–Hrones–Reswick, and Cohen–Coon), three optimization algorithms (Nelder–Mead, Interior Point, and Sequential Quadratic Programming), and three approximation techniques (Crone, Matsuda, and Carlson). The evaluation employed four performance indices (ISE, IAE, ITSE, and ITAE) to assess the closed-loop response in terms of overshoot and settling time.
</dc:description>
