The empirical design evaluates annual spatial dependence and recurrent local hotspot membership using centroid-based Haversine k-nearest-neighbour networks with k = 4, 8, and 12, 999 permutations, and the prespecified seed 20260913. The primary analytical transformation is log1p(event_count), with raw event counts used as a cross-transformation sensitivity check.</p><p dir="ltr">The package contains the analysis-ready panel, source disaster-event workbooks, provenance documentation, derived spatial-inference outputs, permutation configuration, reproducibility documentation, and deterministic reproduction code used to generate the reported results. Reproduction checks matched the core consensus and persistence outputs.</p><p dir="ltr">The underlying disaster-event information originates from the Portal Satu Data Bencana Indonesia maintained by Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB), including the district-level resource “Jumlah Kejadian Bencana Menurut Kabupaten Tahun 2010–2024.”</p><p dir="ltr">The data should be interpreted as administrative reported disaster-event incidence. They are not measures of population risk, vulnerability, exposure, reporting quality, or causal hazard processes.
