<dc:description><p dir="ltr">varies with plant species identity and growth stage.” It includes porewater and environmental measurements from a salt-marsh mesocosm experiment with eight plant species, two- and five-species mixtures, unvegetated controls, and basin surface-water samples. Variables include total alkalinity (TA), dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), salinity, temperature, volumetric water content, plant height and cover, BBCH growth stage, belowground biomass, bulk density, reduction index, plant composition, diversity treatment, and time since the most recent storm surge. Measurements were collected at 0, 5, and 8 days after storm-surge inundation. Missing measurements are indicated as “na”.</p></dc:description>
