The review identified 115 records from Scopus (n = 62) and Web of Science Core Collection (n = 53). After removing 45 duplicates, 70 unique records were screened by title and abstract. Following full-text relevance assessment, the final synthesis included 25 studies: 22 empirical studies and 3 conceptual anchors. For each included study, the dataset provides bibliographic information, study type, research design, primary contribution, key human-centred evidence, dominant tension, final inclusion decision, and extracted evidence addressing three research questions: RQ1. How is generative AI conceptualised as a human-centred tool for enhancing human capabilities for the future of work? RQ2. What human-centred AI frameworks and design principles are emerging to support sustainable and wellbeing-oriented work environments? RQ3. What indicators are used to assess the sustainability of AI-driven performance in relation to human development and workplace wellbeing? The dataset also documents the search strategies, screening decisions, and records retained as reserve or excluded from the final synthesis. It is shared to support transparency, traceability, and reuse of the review process.
