<dc:description>
This dataset supports a master’s study investigating the relationship between asset management maturity and operational performance in selected mining operations. It contains anonymised asset management maturity survey results, planned maintenance and production performance data, normalised datasets, pivot-table analyses, calculations and graphs covering January 2018 to December 2022. The files provide supporting evidence for the analyses and conclusions presented in the thesis.

This research investigates the relationship between asset management maturity and operational performance within selected mining operations. Asset management maturity was assessed using a structured survey covering the principal elements of asset management practice. The maturity results were compared with historical planned maintenance and production performance data for the period January 2018 to December 2022.

The deposited files contain the consolidated asset management survey results, planned maintenance data, production data, pivot-table analyses, normalised results, calculations and graphs used to support the statistical analysis and findings presented in the master’s thesis. Production data were normalised where necessary to enable meaningful comparison between operations of different sizes and operating contexts.

The dataset was used to evaluate whether higher levels of asset management maturity were associated with improved maintenance and operational performance. Company, operation and participant identifiers have been removed or anonymised to protect confidential and personal information. The dataset should be interpreted together with the research methodology, definitions, assumptions and limitations documented in the thesis.
</dc:description>
