<dc:description><p dir="ltr">This dataset accompanies the submitted manuscript ‘Expertise in Football Referees’ Card Decisions: A Bayesian Diffusion Model of Evidence Accumulation’. It contains de-identified trial-level records from the fixed endpoint of 80 referees (40 high-level: 19 national-level and 21 pre-national; 40 Level 3). The primary card-sanction prompt contains 3,040 recorded trials before cleaning and 2,999 trials retained under the prespecified rule that participant answers must be 1–4 and response time must be 0.300–8.000 s inclusive. The workbook also includes 9,120 selected-80 records across the three judgement prompts, of which 9,012 meet the corresponding answer/response-time rule, plus participant-level behavioural summaries, posterior-predictive RT source values, and DDM posterior/contrast summaries used by the manuscript figures and tables. Names, sex, original numeric IDs, source-video paths, video identifiers, and linkable mapping keys are excluded. The public workbook therefore supports reproducibility of the reported analyses without redistributing participant identifiers or copyrighted UEFA video references. Missing values are blank Excel cells; the raw sheets retain validity flags and exclusion reasons, whereas the analysis-input sheets contain only records retained by the stated rule. Ethics approval: Shaanxi Normal University Ethics Committee, Approval No. 202416055; all participants provided informed consent. Public release of de-identified human participant data remains subject to the authors’ institutional consent and data-governance confirmation.</p></dc:description>
