Monthly Precipitation Dataset from the Universidad de Oriente Meteorological Station, Santiago de Cuba (1991–2020) Beatriz Hernández León (24718537) Meteorology precipitation Santiago de Cuba SAROM timeseries Cuba WMO <p dir="ltr">This dataset contains monthly precipitation records from the Universidad de Oriente meteorological station, located in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba. The data were obtained from the SAROM (Sistema Automatizado de Revisión de Observaciones Meteorológicas / Automated System for the Review of Meteorological Observations) database, covering a 30-year period from January 1991 to December 2020.</p><p dir="ltr">The station is located at coordinates 20°02'40"N, 75°49'01"W, at an elevation of 37.92 meters above mean sea level, in the northern part of Santiago de Cuba. The station belongs to the Institute of Meteorology of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA) and operates in full compliance with the requirements established in Technical Regulation No. 49 of the WMO Secretariat (World Meteorological Organization), Geneva, Switzerland, 1979. The station was designated by the WMO as station 364, block 78.</p><p dir="ltr">The dataset consists of monthly precipitation samples collected from January 1991 to December 2020, yielding a total of 360 records.
