Caltrans UAS Flight Metadata, January 2025–August 2026 Aaron Chamberlin (24844057) Civil engineering not elsewhere classified UAS Caltrans SMART Grant construction inspection <p dir="ltr">Operational flight metadata from the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), provided as a supporting dataset for its FY2022 Strengthening Mobility and Revolutionizing Transportation (SMART) Grant project, Deploying UAS Innovations for Remote, Autonomous Infrastructure Construction Inspection. The Excel workbook contains 1,685 flight records and 40 fields in the worksheet X10 Dock Construction. Local takeoff timestamps span January 16, 2025 through August 13, 2026. Fields include flight identifiers, aircraft and equipment identifiers, pilot, takeoff and landing timestamps, takeoff locations, flight duration in seconds, dock information, and mission purpose. The file is an all-time flight metadata export. Its coverage extends beyond the Stage 1 period of performance ending August 15, 2025; the record count should not be interpreted as a count of Stage 1 demonstration flights.
