<dc:description>
The CSAR workshop addressed a group of twelve students from the BSc in Experiential Media Design at the Department of Design, The Ohio State University. The workshop was based on a Github repository holding the in-class workshop materials for building a first-person, browser-based visualization of machine-vision classification data, using A-Frame and a CSV log collected from a live, on-device object classifier (MobileNetV4, running in-browser via ONNX/WebGPU) walked through the Oval at OSU.

The workshop elicited design responses from six groups of two students (labeled A–F), each responding to the same brief and providing JavaScript code and an HTML page. Designs ranged from sorting data in novel ways (semantic clustering) to offering new mappings to visual variables (remapping data). Following the workshop, each group's response was studied with the purpose of outlining various design typologies, from which six were defined (Table 5). It is worth underlining that the workshop focused on design research through coding rather than the development of a situated AR experience: in terms of experience, the augmentation remains hypothetical at this stage.
</dc:description>
