<dc:description><p dir="ltr">This probe adds to the existing literature related to the preservation of ICH by illustrating how visual communication design can be applied to tackle the contemporary challenges related to the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage. This exploration suggests that the fusion of digital media and interactive and participatory designs can enhance public engagement by making experiences more immersive and culturally relevant. This research also examines the possibility of presenting traditional stories and images from a contemporary design perspective and how to remain culturally authentic but relevant to today's audiences. This discussion highlights the importance of engaging the community in the process of developing more accessible and inclusive cultural stories. The novelty of this study is its interdisciplinary approach that establishes a conceptual model for sustainable relationships with ICH through heritage studies, visual communication, digital media, and design creativity. By such an integrated approach, these insights can help supply both theoretical knowledge and practical suggestions for the protection of ICH to all the stakeholders involved in cultural heritage protection, including researchers, designers, cultural practitioners, and policymakers.</p></dc:description>
