<dc:description>
This repository contains the de-identified raw data and analysis code supporting the manuscript “Warmed intravenous fluid administration attenuated a reduction in body temperature in anaesthetised horses.”

The dataset contains body and intravenous fluid temperature measurements collected from healthy adult horses undergoing general anaesthesia while receiving intravenous fluids with an in-line fluid warmer either on or off. The accompanying R Markdown scripts provide the complete statistical analyses used in the manuscript, including linear mixed-effects models, model comparisons, estimated marginal means and trends, pairwise comparisons, model diagnostics, figure generation, and simulation-based power analysis.

The repository includes the raw temperature dataset (
temperaturedata_toupload.csv
), R Markdown scripts for body and fluid temperature analyses (FINAL_
body_temp_analyses.Rmd
and FINAL_
fluid_temp_analyses.Rmd
), and a README describing the dataset, statistical methods, software requirements, and procedures for reproducing the analyses.

All data are de-identified. These materials are provided to promote transparency and reproducibility of the reported findings.
</dc:description>
