<dc:description>
This dataset contains experimental, minimally processed, processed, and derived data supporting the publication “Ce3+-Activated BASL Glass with High Verdet Constants and Efficient Luminescence.” The study investigates highly Ce3+-activated boron–aluminosilicate–lanthanide (BASL) glasses with Ce2O3 concentrations up to 35 mol.% and focuses on their structural, optical, luminescent, and magneto-optical properties.

The deposited data include glass compositions and fabrication information; XRD; XPS; SEM and SEM-EDX; SAXS/WAXS; DSC and TMA; density and calculated Ce3+ concentration; refractive-index measurements and Cauchy-model fits; Lorentz–Lorenz analysis; UV–Vis–NIR transmission and attenuation spectra; optical Fe²⁺ estimates and ICP-MS total-iron measurements; Faraday rotation and Verdet constant data; steady-state photoluminescence; fluorescence decay; absolute luminescence quantum yield; and time-resolved emission spectroscopy with global analysis, including decay-associated spectra (DAS), species-associated spectra (SAS), and residuals.
Data are organized by characterization technique. Technique-specific manifest files describe measurement conditions, processing procedures, and individual files. A sample manifest identifies the glass compositions and characterization methods, and
BASL_Ce_Figure_and_Table_Mapping.xlsx
links the deposited datasets to the corresponding figures and tables in the associated publication and Supporting Information.

The dataset was generated with support from the National Science Foundation under Award DMR-2310284 and the Technology Research Initiative Fund (TRIF) Photonics Initiative of the University of Arizona.

For inquiries regarding the contents of this dataset, please contact the Corresponding Author listed in the README.txt file. Administrative inquiries (e.g., removal requests, trouble downloading, etc.) can be directed to data-management@arizona.edu</dc:description>
